Company’s Christmas gifts for employees and customers will be donated to charity again this year. In a staff vote held in November, the winner was Save the Children Finland (Pelastakaa lapset ry).
We will donate to Save the Children Finland by dividing the donation in half, with half going to the domestic Christmas fundraising campaign for low-income families with children and the other half going to Ukraine, where it will be used to help children and families affected by the ongoing war.
There are over 120,000 children living in low-income families in Finland, and the number is expected to grow. With the support of donors, these families are provided with food aid, recreational support, and educational material support. In addition, the support is used to prevent youth from becoming marginalized.
Save the Children has been operating in Ukraine since 2014 and continues to provide assistance to children and their families. The donation will be used to provide emergency aid, such as food, water, and clothing, and to care for children who have been separated from their parents.
