Under an agreement concluded between the parties on October 21, 2022, Raute Corporation will transfer seven of its mechanical engineering specialists to Comatec Industrial and Marine Oy, a member of Comatec Group.
As a part of the restructuring negotiations conducted by Raute Corporation earlier in the fall of 2022, the company drew up a letter of intent for the divestment of the business with Comatec Industrial and Marine Oy. The transfer comes into effect on November 1, 2022, and the seven employees will make a valuable contribution to Comatec Group’s areas of expertise and range of services. This operation will strengthen and deepen the long-standing partnership between Comatec Group and Raute Corporation.
The divestment will contribute to the implementation of Comatec Group’s growth strategy. It will also improve the group’s ability to provide engineering services to the technology industry and strengthen its market position in the Lahti area.

Comatec Industrial and Marine Oy specializes in design services for industrial production equipment and the marine industry. The company’s predicted turnover for 2022 is €10 million, and it has 120 employees. The total turnover of Comatec Group is €45 million.
